Public Policy. Strategist. Author.

I am a keen observer of the economic, political, and social landscape of India.

I have a unique perspective in my commentary as I view the world through the various lenses of a Government officer, a thematic analyst, an investment banker, a strategist, and a financial advisor. These multiple world-views have shaped me to emerge as a dot-joiner - I piece together disparate issues into a coherent picture.

Currently, I work with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) as Head of Research. In my previous roles, I have led Strategy and New Initiatives for Axis Bank, worked with the Kotak group, The Boston Consulting Group, and was a co-founder of PARK Financial Advisors.

My best selling book, The Making of India – GameChanging Transitions (2015), brought together the concept of "private cost of public failure" and how it opened up opportunities for investments. My second book, Through the Looking Glass (2021), views the India story from the perspectives of bureaucrats, politicians, and citizens who I observed closely in my three-year stint in New Delhi with a Union Minister.

I have an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and am an MITx alumni, apart from certifications from CFP and CFA. I am a prolific columnist and commentator in the business media. I have written many reports and briefing papers on varied topics - the intersection of climate, finance, and policy is the current focus.

I am passionate about astronomy, mythology, and chasing curiosities. I am active on LinkedIn.
